Vintage & Vineyard
In 2004, Napa Valley enjoyed a long, mild growing season of consistently warm days and cool nights, with just a few heat spikes in late September and early October. We harvested our Muscat grapes from the Solari Vineyard in Calistoga on October 14th with an ideal balance of grape sugars and acidity, enabling us to produce this fresh, fragrant, beautifully balanced dessert wine.

Winemaking
The grapes were fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks at cold temperature to retain as much of the Muscat grape’s exotic fragrance as possible. |

Winemaker’s Notes
We have produced Moscato d'Andrea for over 20 years. Our 2004 vintage bottling is one of our best yet, offering a fascinating mélange of exotic aromas including pineapple, orange blossom, lemon oil, grapefruit, honey and green tea. Despite its low alcohol and light body, the wine offers concentrated pineapple, honey and grapefruit flavors that are beautifully balanced between sweetness and acidity. Enjoy it on its own or with fresh fruit and fruit-based desserts.
