Winemaker\u2019s Notes: Our 2001 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the unique character of our estate Calistoga vineyard. With over 30-years experience farming Kara\u2019s Vineyard, we carefully selected four different clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, most of which are newly planted. The fruits enhance one another with greater intensity as the vineyard matures, bringing improved depth to each new vintage. Inviting aromas of dark fruit marry with hints of toast. Dark cherry and black berry flavors integrate nicely with vanilla and maple syrup undertones on the broad, bold palate. A wine of lovely balance, integration and elegance.
