ROBERT PECOTA WINERY

Established 1978

NAPA VALLEY

OUR STORY... Robert Pecota, grape grower and winemaker since 1970, landed into the Napa Valley wine industry when his career brought him from commodities broker in coffee and tea to grape and land acquisitions for Beringer Vineyards.

Establishing a vineyard and winery in Calistoga, his first Robert Pecota Winery vintage was released in 1978 and eventually daughters Kara and Andrea joined the business which grew to produce 30,000 cases of wine a year selling in markets across the states and internationally.  In 2006, Robert sold the original vineyard and winery estate and has continued growing and producing his Robert Pecota wines on a smaller scale.

Currently, Bob is focused on grape growing while producing small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah for sale directly to consumers.  He is grateful for the continued time in the vineyard, additional time for his family as well as the time for his love affair with golf.
